Have Your Friends Join You In The Girl Squad

Ladies, we get it! Having real-life besties in The Girl Squad, with you, makes it infinity times more fun.


How do we know? Because when Lauren started doing at-home workouts with Beachbody in 2015 with her bestie, Marcie, she literally told her they couldn’t host separate groups.

They co-created The Girl Squad, our online fitness community, because fitness combined with friendship is the #1 way to master your workout routine.

why your friends joining you will help you stay consistent

Let’s be honest here, having a workout routine and sticking to it can be one of the toughest things you do, so anything that can make it easier is worth looking into right?

It’s clear in the research that your habits are a combination of your personality mixed with who you surround yourself with.

The answer: get your friends to create fit habits with you OR find new friends who have a solid routine they love.

For Marcie and I it’s a combination of both.

We are committed to using Beachbody on Demand and love cheering each other on, but we also love making new friends, which is why we created The Girl Squad, a safe place to make that fit routine one you love, not one you avoid.

what’s the best way to introduce your friends to beachbody on demand?

My favorite way to introduce beachbody at-home workouts to my friends is through the free workouts or “sample workouts,” that beachbody has for most of their newer programs.

This way, your friend can try your favorite workout programs without any obligation and you can ditch the guilt or worry that you’re selling your friends something they don’t want.

They get to decide if that workout program or at-home workouts were fun or not, all on their own, without having to come over to your house or borrow an old school dvd.

Personally, I would send them the link of this blog post as it will have more information on how to sign up for Beachbody on Demand as well as how to access The Girl Squad group via the BOD app.

i tried the sample workouts and loved them, now what?

If you’ve tried a sample workout and want to do that specific program, you need to know if that program is available via the Beachbody on Demand Annual Membership or if it is on VIP release (first six months of a new program).

Each blog post with links the the sample workouts will have the date when the program is available to everyone via the Beachbody on Demand Membership ($99/year) so make sure you note whether it’s on VIP release or not.

Another way to check, is if the program has the “VIP Early Release” banner on it in the Beachbody on Demand Website or app (see picture below). If so, your best choice would be to grab a bundle or “total solution pack” with supplements + beachbody on demand membership + VIP of the new program.

my program is NOT on VIP early access

You want to grab any of the following options:

  1. Workouts Only $99

  2. BOD + Shakeology $160

  3. BOD + Supplements $160

  4. BOD + Shakeology + Supplements $220

 

my program is on vip early access

you’ll want one of the following options:

  1. Workouts Only ($99) + VIP Early Access of Program ($50) = $150

  2. Program Specific Bundle “Total Solution Pack” $160-$220+

Option 1: you will have to complete this in two purchases and any equipment will have to be purchased additionally (usually $60). This is not the recommended option (due to not being the most cost effective).

Option 2: The program specific bundles include a month of Shakeology and/or the Performance Line (pre/post workout supplements), workout equipment (excluding dumbbells), access to two nutrition online courses/programs, and physical materials.

This is BY FAR the better option from a cost and getting results standpoint. You can always cancel or delay your subscriptions (shakeology, performance line, nutrition) via the 24/7 online chat or in your “my account —> my orders” section in teambeachbody.com.

i officially have beachbody on demand, now what?

YAY! First of all, I hope you love it as much as I do. Second, it’s time for you to pop into The Girl Squad via the Beachbody on Demand app (available in android/apple). It’s where the magic happens & where you’ll make new friends & hopefully say hi to whoever invited you to come join us!

  1. Download the Beachbody on Demand app to your phone

  2. Request access to The Girl Squad

    1. Via the link above

    2. By going to the “bod groups” tab in the BOD app (if it’s not listed, grab access through the link!).

  1. It’s way more fun to have real life friends in The Girl Squad with you, plus it’s more effective in helping you stay committed

  2. The best and easiest way to have friends decide whether or not The Girl Squad is for them is by trying the free at-home “sample” workouts from your favorite workout programs above or by downloading the free workout pdf.

  3. If they love the workouts (like we do!) their next step is to decide which type of Beachbody on Demand membership is right for them (workouts only or a bundle).

  4. Last, they’ll download the beachbody on demand app to their phone & request access to The Girl Squad.
