BOXING

I remember when I first thought boxing would be an awesome idea. I was straight out of college with a degree in Athletic Training from Iowa, and living at home.

I had to finish some college classes I needed before applying to Physical Therapy school.

I got a job making $10/hour that was 45 minutes away in a physical therapy clinic, it was a great experience but I was totally over qualified and under paid, but honestly I didn’t really care.

I just wanted the experience & to get a ton of hours so once I got to PT school I was ready to OWN IT.

The first day at my new job, I realized there was a boxing gym NEXT DOOR. I was thrilled, because I always kind of wanted to punch things without getting in trouble for it.

Maybe that sounds weird, but to me it sounded super bad ass & empowering. Like the super hero/assassin movies I’m obsessed with.
