Something I've been thinking a lot about recently is how we show up in relationships. How, what we say matters and that there are little, itsy bitsy things that seem so small but can make such a huge difference.
In The Girl Squad, I recently did a Live Video on something my husband #batman and I've done in our relationship, that started off so small but had incredible returns.
That small thing? Saying “Thank you for … ” every (ok, most) nights. It's one of my favorite rituals we have and when life gets busy we do often forget to do it, but I always come back to it, because it makes both of us feel so appreciated.
When life is tough, feeling appreciated by the person you're sharing this journey with, is an absolute must. So for us, it's saying, “Thank you for loading the dishwasher tonight,” or “Thank you for calling the electrician.”
… and ya know, it means even more when the other person acknowledges something particularly hassle worthy, like how the electrician is a weird, impatient human, whose work didn't pass inspection the first time and added more stuff onto your to do list.. but I digress ;)
I'd love to hear your favorite routines with your partner and what works for you (so def email me), so I can share even more helpful tips with The Girl Squad – we're all about that fit life, but if we get to add “relationship goals,” to it, we're in for that #bestlife too.

To Share Your Work
Austin Kleon wrote a book called, Share Your Work, and it's really adorable. It contains lots of fun quotes and hand lettered pages, but mostly – it's about getting over your insecurities around sharing the things you know can help people.
If you'd like to feel more confident in sharing anything you create from a hobby to a business to just that powerpoint presentation you absolutely have to do for work .. this book is a must read.

Have You Ever Thought About Sharing Your Own Knowledge?
I'm an educator at heart and most of my girlfriends are too. We might not be actual teachers in the traditional sense, but we cannot stop sharing what works for us, what we love, and things that we know can help people improve their lives.
It's not a surprise to me that some of my closest girlfriends in the PT world have online courses, including my own pelvic floor PT, Amanda at Make + Manifest.
I just bought her bladder course (the bladder blueprint) because I've been known to accidentally pee my pants more than I wish to admit and know I need all the expertise I can get. Plus she's in WA state so if I can't see her in person, this is the next best thing.
This month, I'm super pumped to share more about how you too could create your own online course with the knowledge you have, but first – I want to make sure you have access to Amanda's Bladder Blueprint in case you want to join me in learning more about bladder health (or stop peeing your pants, yep, it's totally fixable and you don't have to live like that forever!).
